The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution- The Ordinary Wednesdays

Hello my Dears, this is the second episode of The Ordinary Wednesdays where we make reviews of The Ordinary skin care and beauty products. Today, I will tell you about my experience with The Ordinary
AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution.

Influenster

What it contains

The main components are 30% Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) and 2% Beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs). We already explained one of the AHAs- which is glycolic acid- and made a review of the Glycolic acid toning solution. Other AHAs in this peeling solution is Lactic, tartaric and citric acids. The BHA is 2% salicylic acid. Other ingredients are hyaluronic acid and Tasmanian berry which reduces irritation that may occur due to acid use.
The Ordinary- influenster

What can I say? This small 30 ml bottle contains all the exfoliating substances you will ever need. As you can see from the picture, I have used it so many times already, winks.

How to use The Ordinary
AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

It is recommended for use once or twice a week, and not more. After cleansing the face and neck, allow the face to dry before applying the acid peel on the face and neck. Make sure to avoid the eye contour. It is a blood red color and will hurt (not just tingle) after application but it feels good at the same time. Rinse off with warm water after leaving it on for 10 minutes.

The results

My skin feels smooth after each use and my complexion is more even since I started using this solution.

If you have blemishes and problems with skin texture, use this peeling solution with The Ordinary Glycolic acid 7% toning solution and Salicylic acid at night.

Don't forget your sunscreen

As the fresh skin is left vulnerable post-treatment with The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution, it is important that you incorporate an SPF (30 or 50) in your skincare routine. This is to prevent effects related to sun exposure such as burns. Further protective methods are by avoiding direct sun contact.

The price

It costs approximately £7. Now, the cost of The Ordinary line is one of the features I love about it, coupled with the fact that they are very effective.

Stay put for another review come next Wednesday, thanks for reading Lovelies

  2. I agree a good exfoliator makes all the difference to my complexion and how make up sits on my face, I've not seen this brand before so will be good to check it out.

  3. This looks great. I like the science behind it, so many products make great claims but no science behind them. I always wear a zinc oxide & titanium oxide sunscreen

  7. I've always been too scared to try facial exfoliators. My skin is really sensitive. This sounds like a good brand though.
