Review-Swiss image Refreshing and Mattifying toner

Hey guys, I hope you are doing well. In this post, I will quickly review the Swiss image refreshing and mattifying toner.

Most of you by now know a lot of my posts on skin care are about how to keep oily acne-prone skin at bay. Well, that is because I have quite some experience with my oily skin. With that said, oily skin is almost always accompanied by enlarged pores and I have found that integrating toners and serums in my skincare routine has come a long way in managing my skin.

Ingredients in the Swiss image toner

It is a product of Switzerland and formulated with natural extracts of Hyssop and Alpine Glacier Water. Furthermore,  acts as an astringent (tightens the skin pores) and leaves a refreshing feel to the skin

How and when to use

It is recommended to use after cleansing with a cleansing gel, or sometimes it can be used first (without cleansing) in the skincare routine. Apply enough on a cotton pad (or 2 for adequate thickness) to dampen it and rub in circles on the face and neck, it can be used on the delicate eye area too. Continue with your serum and/or moisturizing cream afterward.

Any negative sides?

I did not observe any negative effects while using this product. Honestly, it is among the few skincare products I have used to the last drop because of how much I liked it.

For those with sensitive skin

It does not contain alcohol or other similar contents, the only ingredient that may not be suitable for sensitive skin is the fragrance. However, I believe it can be used on mild and moderate sensitive skins.

Will I recommend it, and to whom?

I will definitely purchase it again as soon as I am done with my current regime. It is designed for combination to oily skin.
  • It purifies the skin by removing excess oil and dirt, thereby unclogging pores

  • Tightens pores

  • Prevents shine & gives the skin a glossy look

This toner is pure bliss!

You can purchase a 200ml  at drugstores like dm and Rossmann for a rough price of 16USD.

what type of skin do you have and what products have you found useful for your skin? I will love to hear from you in the comments.

Be and stay beautiful

Yours in the flawless skin journey, Nafisah NK

  4. It really works for its price, just make sure you buy it from a drugstore as they can be overly priced in some other stores xx

  6. I had real problems with introducing new products to my skin so tend to stick to the same tried and tested products. This sounds like a good one to try.

  13. I feel you, I had a similar issue. But at some point I had to take the risk and try others, there are a few times I have skin reactions to the tried products. In the end, the risk is worth it.
