Let me tell you a little about my journey with this possession of mine. I bought it together with the mission perfection serum at the duty-free shop in the Airport. My first assumption was that it was an eye cream. But to my disappointment, it is more of an illuminator. I would describe it to be more of an in-between of concealer and an eye moisturizing cream.
It contains SPF 15, so it is perfect for sun protection. This is the main feature that made me attracted to this item.
How to use it?
Before putting on any makeup, rub a small amount around the eye area. The brush has an on and off switch to avoid spilling. Just be careful when pressing out the content, it can easily come out in a large amount and this will cause wastage.
It is perfect for a cream/concealer, rub it in before the regular steps.
My final verdict
Here are my thoughts on this eye care cream/illuminator.As I already mentioned, I was a bit disappointed when I found that it wasn't what I expected
I wish they specified what it really is and when and how to use it.
The brush that is attached to it can make application messy, so it is better to take a small amount on the finger and rub on the eye area, be sure to massage it in in circles.
The applicator brush can also be unhygienic in the long run because of direct contact with skin, so wipe off after each use before closing the tube.
Who to use it?
It definitely brightens the eyes by clearing discolorations.I will suggest it for people who are into routine cosmetic facial makeup, even if it is moderate.
With all that has been written, the most important bit of this review is that YES! it works, it really makes the dark circles disappear. It will be a perfect item for people with chronic undereye dark circles.
The price
For a tube of 15ml, the cost is roughly 40 USD on Amazon. A very very tiny amount goes a long way. Look around for the best price before purchasing, I noticed varying costs on different websites.Stay awesome x

ReplyDeleteI love the packaging. This isn't something I have ever considered using before as I always thought it was a bit of a gimmick that wouldn't work but if it does then I think I need it in my life! My eyes have constant dark circles these days.

ReplyDeleteThe last couple of years I have definitely started to look my age sadly and do have dark shadows under my eyes. I find some concealers look obvious but if this goes on under everything else I wonder whether it might suit me better - I'll shop around and see if I can get it at a decent price :)
