Review-CLARINS Mission Perfection Serum

Hey guys. It's been a while since I did a review on a product. I have just been waiting for the perfect time to do that. The last time I did one was on Lunar Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serum, now I will do the CLARINS mission perfection serum as promised.

I will start by saying that it is indeed as it is named, it's aim is to perfect the skin in every way.

How to use it

It works best after cleansing the face and/or applying a toner and eye cream. After that, use your regular moisturizing cream.

Why use a serum?

Well, one main reason is that it is more potent than when a moisturizing cream is used alone. This is because it penetrates deeper into the skin layers. Therefore, it is usually impregnated with a lot of active ingredients.

Back to our subject of the day

The CLARINS mission perfection serum comes in a white and orange packaging, both the container and the carton. Also, its content is orange in color and has this sweet cherry smell. In the carton are the bottle of serum and a folded piece of paper which has the product information. The application method is by pumping, which makes it very hygienic.

Of course, the most important bit of the information is that it costs about 70USD. The volume is 30ml. It can last for up to 2 months if used properly.

It is made from plant extracts such as ginkgo biloba and aids in correcting dark spots, acne scars, uneven pigmentation in general, thereby giving the skin an even tone without disturbing the normal skin tone.

My verdict

At first, I was not so impressed with the results from its usage, probably because I was not consistent and I was also impatient. However, with time (roughly 1 month), I have to admit that I am impressed with the feel of my skin and the glow. So it will take some time before you see the desired results, but ut us worth the wait.

I always watch out for my sensitive skin folks. On this note, the good news is that it is recommended for all skin types. But I would not suggest it for very sensitive skins because it has a fragrance.

Stay beautiful as always xx

Yours in the flawless skin journey, Nafisah NK
